11. Optimal Decisions with Limited Information
Sammanfattning : This thesis considers static and dynamic team decision problems in both stochastic and deterministic settings. The team problem is a cooperative game, where a number of players make up a team that tries to optimize a given cost induced by the uncertainty of nature. LÄS MER
12. Integrated Variable-Gain and CMOS Millimeter-Wave Amplifiers
Sammanfattning : Variable Gain Amplifier finds extensive use in the high frequency demonstrators specially those operating in the millimeter-wave regions and beyond where the incoming RF signal level can have wide variations. To maintain a constant signal level an IF VGA has been designed that can offer a dynamic variation of gain as much as 45 dB together with a high maximum gain and a low noise figure. LÄS MER
13. GeoGebra, Enhancing Creative Mathematical Reasoning
Sammanfattning : The thesis consists of four articles and this summarizing part. All parts have focused on bringing some insights into how to design a didactical situation including dynamic software (GeoGebra) to support students’ mathematical problem solving and creative reasoning as means for learning. The four included articles are:I. Granberg, C. LÄS MER
14. Integrated Control and Real-Time Scheduling
Sammanfattning : The topic of the thesis is codesign of flexible real-time control systems. Integrating control theory and real-time scheduling theory, it is possible to achieve higher resource utilization and better control performance. The integration requires new tools for analysis, design, and implementation. LÄS MER
15. Temporal representation of Motor Imagery : towards improved Brain-Computer Interface-based strokerehabilitation
Sammanfattning : Practicing Motor Imagery (MI) with a Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) has shown promise in promoting motor recovery in stroke patients. A BCI records a person’s brain activity and provides feedback to the person in real time, which allows the person to practice his or her brain activity. LÄS MER
