    Sammanfattning : The increased use of biomass and recovered waste fuels in favor of fossil fuels for heat and power production is an important step towards a sustainable future. Combustion of waste fuels also offers several advantages over traditional landfilling, such as substantial volume reduction, detoxification of pathological wastes, and reduction of toxic leaches and greenhouse gas (methane) formation from landfills.     Sammanfattning : Halogen bonding is a weak interaction. In this thesis the three center four electron halogen bond, [N−X−N]+, has been studied. The lighter halogens form highly unstable halonium ions that are reactive towards nucleophiles and their complexes were therefore investigated at low temperatures. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : This thesis gives a contribution to matching theory. It examines three one-to-one matching models: the roommate problem, the partnership formation problem and the assignment game. In the former two, it is known that stable matchings may not exist. In the latter, stable outcomes do exist; we examine if they still do if we generalize the model. LÄS MER
