    Författare :Marcus Frantzén; Philip Moore; David Stockton; Amos Ng; Stephen Newman; Riham Khalil; Högskolan i Skövde; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Scheduling system; Simulation; Scheduling; simulation-based optimisation; Technology; Teknik; Production and Automation Engineering; Produktion och automatiseringsteknik;

    Sammanfattning : In order to cope with the challenges in industry today, such as changes in product diversity and production volume, manufacturing companies are forced to react more flexibly and swiftly. Furthermore, in order for them to survive in an ever-changing market, they also need to be highly competitive by achieving near optimal efficiency in their operations. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Lokalradio och kommersiell radio 1975−2010 : En mediehistorisk studie av produktion och konkurrens

    Författare :Michael Forsman; Madeleine Kleberg; Per Jauert; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; radio history; competition; intermedial; intramedial; media production; media politics; local radio; commercial radio; branding; formatting; scheduling; Media and communication studies; Medie- och kommunikationsvetenskap; medie- och kommunikationsvetenskap; Communication Studies; Other research area;

    Sammanfattning : The main question in this dissertation is: How can the emergence of local and commercial radio and the ensuing changes within each be understood in relation to intermedial and intramedial competition? This overarching question is broken down into four research questions. What driving forces contributed to the implementation of local and commercial radio respectively? (How can the competitive context of these two radio forms be described and periodized? In what ways have the practices of producing radio output, radio audiences and brands changed during the period covered by this study? What similarities and differences have emerged between local radio and commercial radio over time? This study can be seen as an institutional media history, focusing on two distinctive periods in the history of Swedish radio and television, Decentralization (1977-1987) and Commercialization (1987 onwards). 4. 4. Hierarchical Scheduling and Utility Disturbance Management in the Process Industry

    Författare :Anna Lindholm; Institutionen för reglerteknik; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; plant-wide disturbances; utilities; production control; production scheduling; process industry; enterprise modeling; availability; receding horizon control;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis deals with control of production at large-scale process industrial sites in the presence of disturbances. The main focus is on disturbances in the supply of utilities such as steam, cooling water and electricity. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Collaborative production planning with BIM – Design, development and evaluation of a Virtual Production Planning system

    Författare :Mikael Viklund Tallgren; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Construction Informatics; BIM; Construction IT; Scheduling; Collaborative Production Planning;

    Sammanfattning : Construction projects have for a long time been characterized by increased specialization, low productivity, and a fragmented information exchange culture, resulting in inefficient work processes, with time delays and budget overruns. Research within the context of construction planning and scheduling and IT points to improving communication, collaboration, and cooperation to address these problems. LÄS MER
