16. Studies on the Recovery of Secondary Antimony Compounds from Waste
Sammanfattning : The global supply of antimony is dominated by one country which has led the European Union to classify antimony as a critical raw material. Other than the rare-earth elements antimony has the highest supply risk. Therefore, a feasibility study on the recycling of antimony and antimony compounds is of great importance. LÄS MER
17. IronArc a New Process for Pig Iron Production : A Numerical and Experimental Investigation Focusing on Mixing
18. Synthesis, characterization and properties of zeolite films and membranes
Sammanfattning : The work presented in this thesis was aimed to synthesize zeolite films in the absence of organic additives to avoid the potentially detrimental calcination procedure. Furthermore, the support surface was seeded with colloidal seed crystals prior to film growth. This technique has previously been used to prepare thin zeolite films. LÄS MER
19. Lean NOx reduction over supported silver catalysts with methanol as reductant - Influence of silver loading, support material, hydrogen addition and C/N molar ratio
Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis is to find catalysts which show high activity and selectivity forlean NOx reduction in the low-temperature regime relevant for diesel and lean-burnengines and to investigate methanol as reducing agent. The lean NOx reduction oversupported silver catalysts is studied, focusing on the influence of the support material, silver loading, addition of hydrogen and the C/N molar ratio. LÄS MER
20. Fundamental deactivation mechanisms of Fe-BEA as NH3-SCR catalyst - Experimental studies and kinetic modeling
Sammanfattning : Due to globalization and an increasing transport sector the interest for more fuel efficient combustion engines operating under lean conditions has increased. The products formed during the burning process in internal combustion engines are major contributants to global air pollution, where carbon monoxide (CO), hydrocarbons (HC) and nitrogen oxides (NOX) are the major toxic components regulated in many countries.
