A central aspect of what gave these films their versatility stems from circumstances that allowed commissioned texts to pass as non-partisan audiovisual aids, as educational and informative instruments and as occasional examples of film art through intermediaries. 2. Biogeochemical Processes in Denitrifying Woodchip Bioreactors and their Application in the Mining Industry
Sammanfattning : This thesis evaluates passive denitrifying woodchip bioreactors (DWBs) for the removal of nitrate (NO3-) in neutral pH mine drainage, where water is passed through a carbon-rich porous matrix (e.g. woodchips) for the reduction of NO3- to nitrogen gas. LÄS MER

4. Short-term Underground Mine Scheduling : An Industrial Application of Constraint Programming
Sammanfattning : The mining industry is facing a surge in automation in the pursuit of safe and profitable operations. As the excavation process is increasingly automated, today's mining companies seek to optimize the coordination of the now automated mining activities. LÄS MER
5. On deoxidation practice and grain size of austenitic manganese steel
Sammanfattning : The exceptional wear resistance and work hardenability, place Hadfield steel as one of themost important materials for manufacturing cast components used in the mining, crashing, drilling, and excavation industries. In all metallic alloys used for component casting, themechanical properties are highly influenced by the microstructure of the material. LÄS MER
