    Sammanfattning : The overall aim of the present work has been to obtain quantitative and qualitative data on mercury from dental amalgam in humans. The influence of amalgam removal on mercury levels in blood, plasma and urine has been studied in twelve volunteers. All amalgam fillings were removed during one dental session. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Different prosthetic groups containing a trialkylstannyl- and an electrophilic group have been synthesised and labelled with the accelerator produced 76Br (T1/2=16 h) through oxidative bromination.     Sammanfattning : Reactive oxygen species (ROS) consisting of various oxygen-based free radicals as well as other reactive non-radical species produced in O2-related metabolism or through other processes are involved in the oxidation of such vital biomolecules as DNA, proteins and lipids. The types of oxidation represented here are known to cause many different diseases and disorders in human beings, such as cancer, Alzheimer's disease and ageing. LÄS MER
