    Sammanfattning : Over 60% of global greenhouse gas emissions derive from household consumption patterns. To reach the 1.5-degree target set in the Paris Agreement, new interventions to influence household behaviours are needed. This thesis examined two areas, household electricity consumption and waste sorting, where behaviour plays a large role. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Food waste reduction in the public catering sector

    Författare :Christopher Malefors; Sveriges lantbruksuniversitet; Sveriges lantbruksuniversitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY;

    Sammanfattning : Food waste is attracting global attention and there are stated ambitions to halve food waste by 2030. This thesis presents detailed information on quantities of food waste in the food service sector, with particular focus on the Swedish public catering sector. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Environmental pressures from consumer products and mechanisms of predetermination were examined in this thesis using causal loop diagram (CLD) and life cycle assessment (LCA) footprinting to respectively illustrate and provide some indicators about these mechanisms. Theoretical arguments and their practical implications were subjected to qualitative and quantitative analysis, using secondary and primary data. LÄS MER
