    Sammanfattning : This dissertation examines diasporic narratives of Swedish national belonging among a group of young women of Latin American descent, born and/or raised in Sweden, and adoptees. Based on individual interviews, pair interviews, and focus group discussions with twenty-nine high school girls in the Stockholm region, the study aims to understand how mechanisms of exclusion and inclusion operate through intersecting power structures of race, class, gender, sexuality, and age, in the increasingly multi-ethnic Sweden.     Sammanfattning : This thesis examines women’s upward class mobility in a Swedish context, with particular focus on notions of class, gender, race, Swedishness and sexuality. The thesis analyses qualitative interviews with 16 upwardly mobile women. In the analysis the women’s lived experiences, contextualized through structural processes, are in focus. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Avhandlingen belyser vad som hänt i svensk integrationspolitik sedan etableringsreformen genomfördes 2010 och ansvaret för flyktingmottagandet överfördes till Arbetsförmedlingen. Utöver förändringen som Arbetsförmedlingens ansvar innebar medförde reformen också ökad marknadsorientering, införande av valfrihetssystem, villkorad aktiveringspolitik samt andra genomgripande organisatoriska förändringar.     Sammanfattning : In this dissertation it is argued that anti- Semitism was self evident in Sweden at the turn of the century 1900. Through an analysis of the comic press, which was a crucial element in mass culture and political life, the author tries to demonstrate how the everyday version of a national Swedish identity was constructed in opposition to 'The Jew'.
