13. Theranostic Targeting of GRPR and PSMA in Prostate Cancer
Sammanfattning : This thesis is based on five original articles that investigated the theranostics of prostate cancer by gastrin-releasing peptide receptor (GRPR) and prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) targeting. GRPR and PSMA are two extensively evaluated prostate cancer cell markers due to their overexpression in the majority of prostate cancer samples. LÄS MER
14. Aggressive B-cell Lymphomas : Studies of Treatment, FDG-PET Evaluation and Prognostic Factors
Sammanfattning : To improve outcome in young, high-risk lymphoma patients, treatment was intensified, adding etoposide and rituximab to standard CHOP treatment. Granulocyte-colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) enabled treatment bi-weekly. Results were promising: overall (OS) and event-free survival (EFS) 79% and 60% respectively, median follow up 27 months. 15. Studies on Prediction of Axillary Lymph Node Status in Invasive Breast Cancer
Sammanfattning : Breast cancer is the most common malignancy among females in Sweden. Axillary lymph-node dissection is a standard procedure in the management of breast cancer, aiming at obtaining prognostic information for adjuvant therapy decisions. Axillary dissection entails considerable morbidity. LÄS MER
