16. Low back pain in women in relation to different exposures to female sex hormones
Sammanfattning : Objective: To investigate the effects of increased exposition to female sex hormones and physical strain on the prevalence of low back pain (LBP) in women. To study the etJect of increased exposition to female sex hormones on spinal sagiual mobility. LÄS MER
17. Some reproductive health indicators in Ukraine : A study with special emphasis on factors behind induced aboartion and perinatal mortality

Methods: Induced abortion and maternal mortality were studied in some countries/regions of the former Soviet Union, using official statistics. LÄS MER
18. Applications of Soft X-Ray Spectroscopy
Sammanfattning : Soft X-ray emission spectroscopy is an old experimental technique that has seen a strong revival since the advent of new high brilliance soft X-ray sources in the shape of synchrotrons. This thesis covers a range of applications where soft x-ray techniques have been applied. LÄS MER
19. Allopregnanolone effects in women : clinical studies in relation to the menstrual cycle, premenstrual dysphoric disorder and oral contraceptive use
Sammanfattning : Background: Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) affects 3–8% of women in fertile ages. Combined oral contraceptives (OCs) are widely used and some users experience adverse mood effects. The cyclicity of PMDD symptoms coincides with increased endogenous levels of allopregnanolone after ovulation. LÄS MER
20. Formation and fragmentation dynamics of superexcited molecules
Sammanfattning : A series of experimental studies on superexcited smallmolecules have been performed giving new information on theformation and fragmentation dynamics of small superexcitedmolecules. Highly monochromatized synchrotron radiation hasbeen applied in the 5-30 eV energy region, corresponding tovalence shell excitation, and in the 60-600 eV region, corresponding to core shell excitation, to reach these neutralstates above the ionization potential.
