  1. 1. Target Tracking in Complex Scenarios

    Författare :Daniel Svensson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; ran- dom finite sets; multiple-model filtering; radar.; state estimation; Target tracking; performance evaluation; sensor models;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis is concerned with three important components in target track- ing, namely multiple-model filtering, data association and sensor resolution modeling. For multiple-model filtering, the preferred method has long been the Interacting Multiple Model (IMM) filter, which relies on the assumption that immediate model shifts have the highest probability. 2. 2. The Social World Through Infants’ Eyes : How Infants Look at Different Social Figures

    Författare :Clara A. Schmitow; Gunilla Stenberg; Gustaf Gredebäck; Annika M.D. Melinder; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; infant social looking; emotional facial expressions; experience; identity; behavior regulation; head-mounted cameras; eye-tracking; Psychology; Psykologi;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis aims to study how infants actively look at different social figures: parents and strangers. To study infants’ looking behavior in “live” situations, new methods to record looking behavior were tested. Study 1 developed a method to record looking behavior in “live” situations: a head-mounted camera. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Channel Prediction and Target Tracking for Multi-Agent Systems

    Författare :Markus Fröhle; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Gaussian processes; multitarget tracking; channel prediction; extended target tracking; Multi-agent system; posterior fusion; location uncertainty;

    Sammanfattning : Mobile moving agents as part of a multi-agent system (MAS) utilize the wireless communication channel to disseminate information and to coordinate between each other. This channel is error-prone and the transmission quality depends on the environment as well as on the configuration of the transmitter and the receiver. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Anonymizing Faces without Destroying Information

    Författare :Felix Rosberg; Cristofer Englund; Eren Aksoy; Fernando Alonso-Fernandez; Vitomir Struc; Högskolan i Halmstad; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Anonymization; Data Privacy; Generative AI; Reconstruction Attacks; Deep Fakes; Facial Recognition; Identity Tracking; Biometrics;

    Sammanfattning : Anonymization is a broad term. Meaning that personal data, or rather data that identifies a person, is redacted or obscured. In the context of video and image data, the most palpable information is the face. Faces barely change compared to other aspect of a person, such as cloths, and we as people already have a strong sense of recognizing faces. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Towards Usable Privacy and Identity Management for Smart Environments

    Författare :Lejla Islami; Simone Fischer-Hübner; Mikael Asplund; Karlstads universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Privacy-enhancing technologies PETs ; Privacy-enhancing identity management PE-IdM ; Usability; Smart environments; Intelligent transportation systems; Privacy preferences; Qualitative research; Computer Science; Datavetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : Smart environments provide users with a large number of new services that will improve their lives, however, they also have the potential for collecting staggering amounts of personal information, which, if misused, poses a multitude of privacy threats to users ranging from identification, tracking, stalking, monitoring and profiling. Consequently, the users’ right to informational self-determination is at stake in smart environments. LÄS MER
