    Sammanfattning : In an increasingly digitized world teachers are expected to take on the role of educational designers and use ICT to design in ways that add pedagogical value to teaching and learning. This thesis adopts a design-based research (DBR) approach to: (a) explore and contribute to the educational design processes of teachers of English as a foreign language in their efforts to use ICT for added pedagogical value, (b) examine how ICT is used in educational designs to create/contribute to what the teachers and students describe as added value and (c) explore, problematize and refine DBR as a research approach. 2. 2. A method for analyzing value-based compliance in systems security

    Författare :Ella Kolkowska; Fredrik Karlsson; Karin Hedström; Jenny Lagsten; Anthony Vance; Örebro universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; ISS compliance; ISS rule compliance; ISS policy violations; ISS policy compliance; behavioural aspects within ISS; employees’ behaviours; user security behaviour; Informatik; Informatics;

    Sammanfattning : Aim: The aim of this thesis is to design a method that supports analysis of different values that come into play in compliance and non compliance situations within information systems security (ISS). The thesis addresses the problem of lack of ISS compliance methods that support systematic analysis of compliant and non-compliant behaviours as well as the reasons for these behaviours. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Mobile Knowledge

    Författare :Henrik Fagrell; Göteborgs universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Mobile CSCW; Knowledge management; Organisational memory; Ethnography; Empirically informed systems design; Handheld devices;

    Sammanfattning : Both the issues of "knowledge management" and "mobility" have received much attention recently. The interest in these issues is often motivated by the fact that work, in many organisations, has become "knowledge intensive" and "mobile". However, so far these issues have been explored separately. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Mobile Newsmaking

    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Informatics; Mobile CSCW; Journalism; Ethnography; Empirically informed systems design; Handheld devices;

    Sammanfattning : The research reported in this thesis concerns the design of new and innovative IT support for mobile news journalism. News journalists often have to report events on topics that they do not know very well and with little time for preparation. News reporting is often conducted in the field, away from the stationary IT support. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Exploring affordability in concept generation for complex defence products

    Författare :Daniel Amann; Mats Magnusson; Ingrid Kihlander; Poul Kyvsgaard Hansen; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Affordability; complex product systems; concept generation; CoPS; defence; front end of innovation; innovation management; product development; tournament goods; Machine Design; Maskinkonstruktion;

    Sammanfattning : National defence budgets face pressure from intergenerational escalating costs for complex defence products, such as fighter aircraft and submarines. These escalating costs originate from ever-increasing performance requirements due to the competitive nature of warfare. In combat, only winning is good enough. LÄS MER
