    Sammanfattning : As agrarian society developed, the most fertile soils able to sustain the nutritional requirements needed for high crop yield were assigned to farming, while the more penurious soils were left to uphold the forest ecosystems. Some temperate forests are developed on acidic soils considered to be nutrient poor, as much of the inorganic nutrients are entrapped in poorly weatherable soil minerals and not easily accessed by plant roots.     Sammanfattning : The worldwide increase in antibiotic resistance is a concern for public health. When the appropriate antibiotic dosage is determined, the priorities are efficacy and toxicity.     Sammanfattning : The forestry-wood chain today involves many actors, and the decisions taken in the process of making trees into finished products are so many that the effect of each individual decision is difficult to assess, especially if the natural variation of the input material is considered.This means that a simulation approach to the forestry-wood chain is suitable, since it makes it possible to evaluate the effects of decisions in a short timeframe, while the input material can be kept constant for different production setups.     Sammanfattning : The purpose of this study was to chart the situation of women principals. By the time the in-vestigation was made the whole amount of women principals in compulsory school was about 16 percent (90/91). Of 235 contacted women, 204 were serving as principals. 173 responded which means 85 percent. LÄS MER
