Sammanfattning : Falls and fall-related concern and fear of falling are not well understood when it comes to old people receiving home-help services, a transitional population in-between those living independently in the community and those living in residential care facilities. The psychological distress attributable to the perceived risk of falling among this population needs further exploration, which is also the case regarding possible ways to increase their feeling of security. Sammanfattning : A reduction of the negative environmental impact caused by urban traffic will to a considerable extent depend on behavioural change. 40. Two Essays on Relative Consumption
Sammanfattning : First paper: Consumption Theory with Reference Dependent Utility: Its Impact on Marginal Propensity to Consume This paper presents a closed form consumption function for an individual when he derives utility from his own previous and current consumption and from the previous consumption of his relevant others. I show that the individual's marginal propensity to consume (MPC) is smaller than the MPC under the permanent income hypothesis. LÄS MER
