    Sammanfattning : QCD at very high energies is still not very well understood. Difficulties arise from a strong non-linear dynamics and also from nonperturbative physics.     Sammanfattning : The five different K -> 3 Pi and the three K -> 2 Pi decays are calculated in Chiral Perturbation Theory. The calculation is done using different approximations, to study whether this changes the result significantly. First the isospin approximation is used.     Sammanfattning : Different hadronization effects in high energy interactions are investigated. The frame-work is the Lund model for the strong interaction. A model for baryon production in jet fragmentation is presented and extended to baryon remnant fragmentation in deep inelastic scattering and hadron--hadron collisions. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : The very large multiplicity of charged particles encountered in lead on lead collisions in the WA98 experiment at the CERN SPS provided new experimental challenges. Tracking detectors read out with high granularity were developed to achieve accurate position information in two dimensions, with the aim of reconstructing tracks with a minimum of combinatorial difficulties.     Sammanfattning : A series of studies pertaining to the STIC calorimeter at the DELPHI experiment at LEP is presented, and a new generation of fast wire scanners for emittance measurements at PS is described. The STIC studies are centered around a single-photon analysis, in which the reaction e+ e- -> gamma + invisible particles was studied at center-of-mass energies of 161, 172 and 183 GeV. LÄS MER
