    Sammanfattning : The study focus is a sample of women with drug dependence admitted to compulsory treatment according to the Swedish act of care for drug abusers (LVM, 1988:870) and according to the act of care for young persons (LVU, 1990:52). From a cohort consecutively admitted to residential treatment at Lunden between 1997 and 2000, a sample of 132 women was selected for a five year follow-up. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Objectives: To study prospectively the relatively long-term outcome in a representative sample of teenage onset anorexia nervosa (AN) in respect of overall outcome, physical health, psychiatric disorders, and personality disorders and to investigate familial factors among first-degree relatives. Method: A group of 51 cases (48 female, 3 male) with AN, recruited by community screening (including the total AN population (minus one individual) from one birth cohort), with a mean age of onset of 14 years, was contrasted with an age-, sex-, and school-matched group of 51 comparison cases on various measures of outcome at a mean age of 24 years (10 years after reported AN onset).     Sammanfattning : Wilson's disease (WD), bepatolenticular degeneration, is an autosomal recessive disorder caused by mutations in the ATP7B gene, and is characterised by abnormal metabolism and deposition of copper in the liver, brain and other organs.
