31. Physiologically based modelling of nanoparticle biodistribution and biokinetics
Sammanfattning : To predict the toxicity of nanoparticles (1-100 nm), it is crucial to understand their biokinetics i.e. how they are taken up, distributed, dissolved and removed from the body. Such information can be gained from biodistribution studies in animals. LÄS MER

34. People with multiple sclerosis in Stockholm : aspects of motor and cognitive function, activities of daily living and social/lifestyle activities
Sammanfattning : No population-based, detailed data has been published regarding persons with multiple sclerosis (PwMS) in terms of cognitive function, manual dexterity, general motor capacity, walking capacity, activities of daily living (ADL) and social/lifestyle activities. In addition, there is a lack of knowledge about associations between cognitive function, manual dexterity, walking ability, socio-demographic factors and coping capacity; and independence in ADL and normal frequency of social/lifestyle activities in a population-based sample of PwMS. 35. The role of ion channels and intracellular metal ions in apoptosis of Xenopus oocytes
Sammanfattning : Apoptosis is one type of programmed cell death, important during tissue development and to maintain the tissue homeostasis. Apoptosis comprises a complex network of internal signaling pathways, and an important part of this signaling network is the action of voltage‐gated ion channels. LÄS MER
