31. Quantum Transport Theory in Graphene
Sammanfattning : In this thesis, we focus on different aspects of electron transport in nanostructured graphene (such as graphene nanoribbons). Wedevelop and implement numerical methods to study quantum coherent electron transport on an atomistic level, complemented by analytical calculations based on the Dirac approximation valid close to the points $\vec{K}$ and $\vec{K}^\prime$ in the graphene Brillouin zone. 32. Local Structure and Dynamics of Next Generation Electrolytes - linking microscopic and macroscopic properties
Sammanfattning : The electrolyte is a crucial part of a battery in terms of performance, longevity and safety. However, the state-of-the-art electrolytes for lithium-ion batteries are based on organic solvents and Li-salts (typically at 1M concentration) which are volatile and degrade at higher temperatures. 33. Molecular Arrangement, Electronic Structure and Transport Properties in Surfactant Gel- and Related Systems Studied by Soft X-ray and Dielectric Spectroscopy
Sammanfattning : This thesis concerns studies of aqueous soft matter systems, especially surfactant micelle systems. The aim has been to study the molecular arrangement and electronic structure of the constituents of, as well as transport properties in such a system. LÄS MER
34. Understanding Changes in Decision-making Processes to Adopt First-/Last-Mile Automated Bus Service
Sammanfattning : This research investigates the changes in the interactions of objective factors (factors which are independent of perception e.g. LÄS MER
35. Charge Transport Processes in Mesoporous Photoelectrochemical Systems
Sammanfattning : During the last decade, the dye sensitised solar cell (DSC) has attracted much attention. The technology has a potential to act as a new generation of photovoltaic device, it has also increased our knowledge within the field of photoelectrochemistry. LÄS MER
