16. Hemorphins and endomorphins
Sammanfattning : In this thesis, two newly discovered endogenous opioid peptide families, the hemorphins and endomorphins, are investigated with emphasis on modulation of pain and inflammation. In addition, the presence of hemorphins in human biological fluids as well as the in vitro and in vivo processing ofLVV-hemorphin-7 in blood and brain is investigated. LÄS MER
17. Advances in Additive Manufacturing of Organic Electrochemical Transistors

18. Immunotherapy of children with rhinoconjunctivitis due to birch pollinosis
Sammanfattning : In this investigation of immunotherapy (IT) children 6-16 years old with rhinoconjunctivitis due to birch pollinosis were included.I. Methodological studies. To monitor IT a reliable provocation test is desirable. LÄS MER
19. Neural circuits engaged in mastication and orofacial nociception
Sammanfattning : A deeper understanding of both movement control and the effects of nociceptor inputs on our motor systems is critical for proper clinical diagnosis of musculo-skeletal dysfunctions and for development of novel rehabilitation schemes. In the jaw system, masticatory movements are produced by a central pattern generator (CPG) located in the brainstem. LÄS MER
