18. Genetic variation in two closely related salmonids, brown trout (Salmo trutta) and Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar) : a comparison of variability patterns and some management considerations
Sammanfattning : Within the Salmonidae, a wide range of intraspecific variation, both morphological and ecological, has long been recognized. In the present study electrophoresis was used to examine natural populations of brown trout (Salmo trutta) and Atlantic salmon (Salmo solar) in northern Sweden in an effort to reveal the genetic structure of these populations. Sammanfattning : In this thesis, the design and use of ontologies as domain knowledge sources in information-providing dialogue systems are investigated. The research is divided into two parts, theoretical investigations that have resulted in a requirements specifications on the design of ontologies to be used in information-providing dialogue systems, and empirical work on the development of a framework for use of ontologies in information-providing dialogue systems.
