In the present study electrophoresis was used to examine natural populations of brown trout (Salmo trutta) and Atlantic salmon (Salmo solar) in northern Sweden in an effort to reveal the genetic structure of these populations.     Sammanfattning : In this thesis, the design and use of ontologies as domain knowledge sources in information-providing dialogue systems are investigated. The research is divided into two parts, theoretical investigations that have resulted in a requirements specifications on the design of ontologies to be used in information-providing dialogue systems, and empirical work on the development of a framework for use of ontologies in information-providing dialogue systems.     Sammanfattning : Abstract Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a chronic and relapsing disorder of the gastrointestinal tract that includes the two major subcategories ulcerative colitis and Crohn´s disease. Suffering from IBD during adolescence, which is a critical period of physical, psychological and social development, may be especially demanding and it may have adverse effects on self-esteem and socialization.
