16. Significance of white matter anatomy in interpreting features and behaviour of low-grade gliomas and implications for surgical treatment

17. Axis Fractures in Elderly : Epidemiology and Treatment related outcome
Sammanfattning : Background: Axis fractures are a common injury in the elderly population. Treatment is often complicated due to osteoporosis and patient comorbidity. Knowledge of the incidence of these fractures, as well as their treatment, outcome and mortality rate, will improve knowledge and decision-making processes for this fragile group of patients. LÄS MER
18. On the diagnosis and treatment of intraepidermal carcinoma

19. Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors : Surgical Treatment and Follow-up

20. Hepatic and Peritoneal Colorectal Metastases : Aspects of Prognosis and Treatment
Sammanfattning : Although two-thirds of colorectal cancer patients are cured by surgery, approximately 50% of the patients with this disease develop locally recurrent or distant metastases during the course of their illness. The aim of this study was to identify metastatic sites associated with poor prognosis in rectal cancer and then to investigate methods that can prevent the development and growth of metastases and optimise uptake of drugs at these sites in animal models.
