This phenomenon is mediated by the ligand-dependent transcription factor peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR).    Sammanfattning : The aim of this dissertation is to examine how Conceptual metaphor theory (CMT), with its detailed conceptual framework for various metaphorical and metonymic thought processes, can clarify and deepen psychoanalysis, specifically Freud's theory of the primary process thinking as a central element in his theory of the unconscious, as well as his interpretive work in the case study, Analysis of a phobia in a five-year-old boy (Little Hans). In a broader perspective, my dissertation also has educational relevance as a contribution to the theoretical discussions of meaning and meaning-making.    Sammanfattning : Rapid urbanization occurring in many developing countries coupled with the constraints they are facing, has affected road infrastructure service delivery by public authorities charged with managing them. In Kampala City’s mixed income neighbourhood areas that have a disparity between neighbourhood community members, inadequate neighbourhood road management by Kampala City Council who are charged with managing these roads has led to neighbourhood roads that are in a poor state of disrepair, and do not meet many of the needs of their users.    Sammanfattning : Oxygenic photosynthesis is undisputedly one of the most important chemical processes for human life on earth as it not only fills the atmosphere with the oxygen that we need to breathe, but also sustains the accumulation of biomass, which is not only used as nourishment but is also present in almost every aspect of our lives as building material, textiles in clothes and furniture, or even as living decorations to name a few.The photosynthetic water-splitting mechanism is catalyzed by a water:plastoquinone oxido-reductase by the name of photosystem II (PSII), which is embedded in the thylakoid membranes of plants, algae and cyanobacteria.
