  1. 11. Influences from Building Energy Efficiency Refurbishment on a Regional District Heating System

    Författare :Tina Lidberg; Louise Ödlund; Thomas Olofsson; Urban Persson; Högskolan i Gävle; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; District heating; energy efficiency; building refurbishment; greenhouse gases; primary energy; Fjärrvärme; energieffektivitet; byggnadsrenovering; växthusgaser; primärenergi; Hållbar stadsutveckling; Sustainable Urban Development; Reesbe företagsforskarskola;

    Sammanfattning : Improving energy performance of existing buildings is an important part in decreasing energy use and in turn reduce the greenhouse gas emissions caused by human activity and the primary energy use.To be able to evaluate how energy refurbishment influences the greenhouse gas emissions and the primary energy use a wider system perspective is needed that puts the building in its context.     Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; building simulation; combined heat and power; district heating; domestic hot water; energy efficiency; greenhouse gas emission; low-temperature; multi-family building; primary energy; refurbishment; byggnadsimulering; energieffektivitet; flerfamiljshus; fjärrvärme; kraftvärme; lågtemperatur; primärenergi; renovering; tappvarmvatten; växthusgas; Hållbar stadsutveckling; Sustainable Urban Development; Reesbe företagsforskarskola;

    Sammanfattning : Improving energy performance of existing buildings is an important part in decreasing energy use and in turn reducing greenhouse gas emissions and primary energy use. To be able to evaluate how energy refurbishment influences greenhouse gas emissions and primary energy use a wider system perspective is needed which puts the building in its context. LÄS MER

  3. 13. What have residents got to do with it? : Variations in energy use and energy-related behaviours in single-family houses

    Författare :Carolina Hiller; Jesper Arfvidsson; Thorbjörn Laike; Avdelningen för Byggnadsfysik; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; energy use variations; energy-related behaviour; single-family houses; households; residents; multi-disciplinary; field measurements; times-use diaries; energy use over time; load curves; power peaks; energy measurements; residential houses;

    Sammanfattning : To achieve global energy goals, energy use in residential buildings must decrease. The implementation of technical measures is crucial but alone it is not sufficient; residents need to change their behaviour as well. LÄS MER

  4. 14. Building-related renewable electricity production with storage and energy-efficient buildings : Exploring barriers, drivers and quality assurance

    Författare :Anna-Lena Lane; Mathias Cehlin; Thomas Olofsson; Högskolan i Gävle; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Energy efficiency gap; energy performance gap; ByggaE; battery storage; barriers; drivers; Non-energy benefits NEB; questionnaire; quality assurance; PV; energieffektivisering; energieffektiva byggnader; kvalitetssäkring; byggprocessen; ByggaE; solel; batterilager; hinder; drivkrafter; enkätstudie; Hållbar stadsutveckling; Sustainable Urban Development;

    Sammanfattning : There is a need to reduce unsustainable use of fossil fuels. Increased usage of renewable energy by combined use of photovoltaic solar panels (PV) with battery storage is one way. Another way is to increase awareness of energy usage and reduce the energy performance gap by building energy-efficient buildings. LÄS MER

  5. 15. Energy Efficiency in the Residential, Service and Energy Sectors : Barriers, Drivers and System Studies

    Författare :Stefan Blomqvist; Louise Ödlund; Patrik Rohdin; Erik Dahlquist; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Energy Efficiency; Barriers; Drivers; System Studies;

    Sammanfattning : Increased energy efficiency is a prerequisite for achieving the national energy and climate goals, the goals set by the European Union, and the Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the United Nations. Close to 40% of Sweden’s total energy use and approximately 20% of domestic greenhouse gas emissions are allocated to the residential and service sector. LÄS MER
