  1. 16. Soft measures to shift modality

    Författare :Alfred Söderberg; Trafik och väg; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Soft transport measures; Modal shift; Innovation; ICT; E-bikes; Segmentation; Motivation; Evaluation;

    Sammanfattning : Traffic accumulated by cars is responsible for considerable problems in our cities. The problem is partly about the negative effects on human health due to harmful particulate emissions, noise, traffic accidents and sedentary lifestyles, partly about the space it occupies, which leads to congestion, and the fact that valuable land is taken up by road infrastructure and parking lots. 2. 17. Environmental Impacts of Shared Mobility: Potential, Factors, and Assessments

    Författare :Ana Maria Arbelaez Velez; Internationella miljöinstitutet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; shared mobility; Environmental impact; sustainable transportation; input and output analysis; Life Cycle Assessment LCA; demand-side solutions;

    Sammanfattning : Environmental impacts from passenger transportation continue to increase globally due to a rise in kilometers traveled and a shift to emission-intensive transportation modes (from public transportation and active modes such as walking and cycling to motorcycle and car ridership). The electrification of the passenger fleet, coupled with low-carbon energy sources, is expected to decrease some of the environmental impacts associated with passenger transportation, including local air pollution, greenhouse gas emissions and fuel depletion. 3. 18. Simulation methods for bumper system development

    Författare :Erik Isaksson; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Hållfasthetslära; Solid Mechanics;

    Sammanfattning : n development of bumper systems for the automotive industry, iterative Finite Element (FE) simulations are normally used to find a bumper design that meets the requirements of crash performance. The crash performance of a bumper system is normally verified by results from standardized low speed crash tests based on common crash situations. LÄS MER

  4. 19. Techno-Economic Perspectives on Biofuel Futures – Modelling Transport Sector Strategies in an Energy System Context

    Författare :Martin Börjesson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; biogas; oil dependence; model; MARKAL; transport; CO2; optimisation; biofuel;

    Sammanfattning : The high oil dependence and the continuous growth of energy use in the transport sector have in recent years triggered interest in transport biofuels as a measure to mitigate climate change andimprove energy security. This work aims to examine techno-economic interactions linked totransport biofuel strategies in national and regional energy systems and their implications for thecost-effective realisation of energy policy objectives.
