1. Design and Fabrication of Light-Emitting Electrochemical Cells
2. Solution-processed light-emitting electrochemical cells : challenges and opportunities
Sammanfattning : Our world is filling up with electronics. High-tech gadgets are integrated everywhere, from smart fridges able to track expiry dates and food usage, to microchip implants that let us unlock doors and pay with our hands. LÄS MER
3. Industrial Digital Fabrication Using Inkjet Technology
Sammanfattning : The use of acoustic waves initiated by the deformation of a microchannel is one method for generating monodisperse, micrometer-sized droplets from small orifices and is employed in piezo-electric inkjet printheads. These printheads are used in both graphical printing and digital fabrication, where functionalities, such as optical, biological, electrical or mechanical, are being produced locally. LÄS MER
4. Fabrication and Photoelectrochemical Applications of II-VI Semiconductor Nanomaterials
Sammanfattning : In this work we investigated fabrication of semiconductor nanomaterials and evaluated their potential for photo-chemical and photovoltaic applications. We investigated different II-VI semiconductor nanomaterial systems; (i) ZnO oriented nanowire arrays non-epitaxially grown from a substrate; and (ii) colloidal CdE (E=Te,Se,S) quantum structures synthesized by solution-based thermal decomposition of organo-metallic precursors. 5. Fabrication and Functionalization of Graphene and Other Carbon Nanomaterials in Solution
Sammanfattning : In the last decades several new nanostructures of carbon have been discovered, including carbon nanotubes (CNTs), and the recently discovered 2-dimensional graphene. These new materials exhibit extraordinary and unique properties—making them extremely interesting both for fundamental science and for future applications. LÄS MER
