    Sammanfattning : The aim of this study was to investigate how compulsary treatment of alcohol abuse is experienced by persons forced to submit to it, the majority of whom are negative in their attitude toward treatment of this sort. Syftet med undersökningen var att försöka förstå hur unga vuxna aktivt använder relationen mellan kropp och mat i vardagen som del av en strategi för att uppnå välbefinnande och bättre hantera existentiella problem och ängslan inför framtiden.
