Sammanfattning : This dissertation is based on three questions:What is orality, how has orality developed during the last 200 years in Swedish non-fiction, and what is the cause of this development? Orality is treated here as the linguistic consequence of a certain communicative function. Sammanfattning : The purpose of this dissertation is to read three Swedish-language works of literary fiction from the 20th century in a decolonising way in order to provide insights into what the development of such a reading style entails. With this goal in mind, I make use of theoretical and methodological perspectives taken from decolonial studies, indigenous studies, neomaterialism and critical race- and whiteness studies. LÄS MER

Sammanfattning : This dissertation is a study on the works of the Swedish author Carl Jonas Love Almqvist during the final years of his exile in America. Focusing on the monumental 1438-page unpublished manuscript 'About Swedish Rhymes', the study first presents the textual material and then discusses the text from different formal and content-based aspects essential to an understanding of Almqvist's works in exile. 5. Ditransitives in Swedish : A Usage-Based Study of the Double Object Construction and Semantically Equivalent Prepositional Object Constructions 1800–2016
Sammanfattning : This thesis examines the use of the Swedish double object construction (the DOC) and compares this with the use of three semantically equivalent prepositional object constructions (POCs): the till-POC, the åt-POC and the för-POC. The thesis has a diachronic perspective, investigating changes in the use of these four constructions between 1800 and 2016. LÄS MER
