11. Growth and Characterization of Ti-Si-N Hard Coatings
Sammanfattning : Metastable (Ti,Si)N alloy and TiN/SiNx multilayer thin solid films as well as SiNx/TiN surfaces have been explored. Cubic Ti1-xSixN (0≤x≤0. LÄS MER
12. Aqueous Processing of WC-Co Powders Aqueous processing of WC-Co powders
Sammanfattning : The object of this work is toobtain a fundamental understanding of the principal issuesconcerning the handling of WC-Co powders, in an aqueousmedium. The oxidation and dissolution oftungsten carbide powder dispersed in water was investigatedusing X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) and leachingstudies. 13. Affective Surface Engineering for Product Design
Sammanfattning : Design research, sensation and perception, hard metrology, emotional functions, semantics, surface roughness, product interaction, core values, total appearance… the list of scientific phrases never ends. Yet, what do they mean and how shall we use it when we are communicating with the industry and our end users? Is it possible to link the product experience to process parameters, put a number onto it? When you can measure spoken needs or even better, implied needs, of a product, and relate that data to the production, it is possible do create advanced products with high interaction stimuli. 14. Aqueous Processing of WC-Co Powders
Sammanfattning : The object of this work is to obtain a fundamentalunderstanding of the principal issues concerning the handlingof an aqueous WC-Co powder suspension. The WO3 surface layer on the oxidised tungsten carbidepowder dissolves at pH>3 with the tungsten concentrationincreasing linearly with time. 15. Computation of EMC Properties of Slots and Printed Circuit Boards
Sammanfattning : This thesis deals with the numerical solution of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) problems for electronic systems, such as radiated emission, susceptibility and crosstalk on printed circuit boards and transmission through slots. The analysis of printed circuit boards is done by using an electric field integral equation (EFIE) expressed in the frequency domain, which is solved by using the method of moments. LÄS MER
