    Sammanfattning : Methods and approaches for performing structural and conformational analysis of bacterial polysaccharides in solution are described. The structure of one exopolysaccharide from Lactobacillus helveticus and two O-antigens from Escherichia coli have been determined using NMR spectroscopy, chemical degradation and mass spectrometry.
