Sammanfattning : Given the global commitment to reduce the impact of fluorinated gases on climate and the regulations controlling their use in the European Union (EU), this thesis investigates new refrigerants that have been recently proposed to meet the demands of the refrigeration industry in the EU, which must satisfy the legislative requirements of the F-gas Regulation and facilitate meeting the goals of the Paris Agreement.The legislative requirements of the EU have intensified refrigerant development with reduced GWP. Sammanfattning : Increased flexibility has been one of the most consistently pursued goals of civil procedure reforms in Sweden during recent decades, resulting in a near doubling of the number of rules intended to confer discretion upon the courts. Meanwhile, the Court of Justice of the EU (CJEU) has in its case law increasingly ventured into core areas of procedural law, suggesting inter alia that the legislative choice to confer discretion on the courts affects the effective enforcement of EU law. The thesis is inspired by the work of Doreen Massey and Alejandrina Catalano on different forms of landownership under capitalism, exploring the nature of the relationship between land and landowner when the latter is a public authority.
