  1. 6. Facing the Illusion Piece by Piece : Face Recognition for Persons with Learning Disability

    Författare :Henrik Danielsson; Jerker Rönnberg; Jan Andersson; Erland Hjelmquist; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Face recognition; Memory conjunction error; Binding; Working memory; Learning disability; Witness psychology; Ansiktsigenkänning; Falska minnen; Bindning; Arbetsminne; Utvecklingsstörning; Vittnespsykologi; Disability research; Handikappsforskning;

    Sammanfattning : Avhandlingens övergripande syfte var att undersöka ansiktsigenkänning för personer med och utan utvecklingsstörning. Tre specifika forskningsfrågor undersöktes:1. Hur ser interaktionen ut mellan familjaritet med ansikten och familjaritet med miljöer när det gäller bildigenkänning för personer med utvecklingsstörning?2. LÄS MER

    Författare :Henrik Haraldsson; Tino Ebbers; Matts Karlsson; Jan Engvall; Matthias Stuber; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Medical engineering; Medicinsk teknik;

    Sammanfattning : Quantitative assessment of myocardial function is a valuable tool for clinical applications and physiological studies. This assessment can be acquired using phase based motion sensitive magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniques. LÄS MER

  3. 8. Advances in Separation Science : . Molecular Imprinting: Development of Spherical Beads and Optimization of the Formulation by Chemometrics

    Författare :Henrik Kempe; Anders Colmsjö; Ulrika Nilsson; Jan Åke Jönsson; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Chromatography; Parameter estimation; Diffusion; Molecularly imprinted polymer; Suspension polymerization; Chemometrics; Analytical chemistry; Analytisk kemi;

    Sammanfattning : An intrinsic mathematical model for simulation of fixed bed chromatography was demonstrated and compared to more simplified models. The former model was shown to describe variations in the physical, kinetic, and operating parameters better than the latter ones. LÄS MER

  4. 9. Jack of all trades, master of none : the multifaceted nature of H3K36 methylation

    Författare :Henrik Lindehell; Jan Larsson; Anders Byström; Peter B. Becker; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; H3K36; histone methylation; dosage compensation; chromosome-specific gene regulation; transposable elements; PIWI piRNA biosynthesis; Set2; Ash1; NSD; Histone 3.3; post-translational modifications; histone modifications; epigenetics; proximity ligation assay; Drosophila; Genetics; genetik; molekylärbiologi; Molecular Biology; Biopharmaceutics; biofarmaci;

    Sammanfattning : Post-translational modifications of histones enable differential transcriptional control of the genome between cell types and developmental stages, and in response to environmental factors. The methylation of Histone 3 Lysine 36 (H3K36) is one the most complex and well-studied histone modifications and is known to be involved in a wide range of molecular processes. LÄS MER
