21. Quantum Wavepacket Dynamics in Molecular and Trapped Ion Systems
Sammanfattning : The motions of a wavepacket in the two coupled potentials studied in this thesis can be classified into either bistable or astable motion according to the wavepacket interference at the curve crossing. Bistable motion, in which the wavepacket performs a coupled oscillation but remains in the same adiabatic and diabatic state, can exist both in bound-bound systems and bound-unbound ones with long time stability. 22. Transport effects in hybrid circuit QED structures
Sammanfattning : This dissertation deals with the electron-photon interplay in hybrid circuit QED structures. The aim is to provide a framework in which this interplay can be understood and to predict experimentally measurable transport effects. In addition an application of this interplay is proposed. 23. X-ray Spectroscopy of Molecules Driven by Strong IR Fields
Sammanfattning : The current thesis deals with one important branch of the physics of ultrafast processes, namely modeling of femtosecond nuclear dynamics. We suggest a new type of time resolved spectroscopy, the phase sensitive infrared-x-ray pump probe spectroscopy, which combines rich opportunities of IR laser techniques in quantum control of molecular systems with the site selectivity of x-rays. 24. Near-ambient pressure velocity map imaging
Sammanfattning : Catalytic reactions on solid surfaces have been studied under Ultra-high vacuum (UHV) conditions for decades. These studies provide crucial information for catalytic reactions, such as surface structures, adsorption sites, and reaction mechanisms. LÄS MER
25. Atomic and Molecular Dynamics Probed by Intense Extreme Ultraviolet Attosecond Pulses
Sammanfattning : This thesis work was aimed to investigate dynamical processes in atoms and molecules on ultrafast time scales initiated by absorption of light in the extreme ultraviolet (XUV) regime. In particular, photoionization and photodissociation have been studied using pump-probe techniques involving ultrafast laser pulses. LÄS MER
