    Sammanfattning : This thesis is based on five original articles that investigated the theranostics of prostate cancer by gastrin-releasing peptide receptor (GRPR) and prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) targeting. GRPR and PSMA are two extensively evaluated prostate cancer cell markers due to their overexpression in the majority of prostate cancer samples. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Prostate cancer is the most common cancer among Swedish men, but the aetiology of this disease is largely unknown. There is evidence for a linkage between chronic inflammation and prostate cancer. Despite advancements such as Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and targeted biopsies, PSA remains crucial in prostate cancer diagnostics, leading to ongoing challenges of overdiagnosis and overtreatment.
