11. On Safe Collaborative Assembly With Large Industrial Robots
Sammanfattning : This thesis pertains to industrial safety in relation to human-robot collaboration. The aim is to enhance understanding of the nature of systems where large industrial robots collaborate with humans to complete assembly tasks. This understanding may support development and safe operations of future collaborative systems. LÄS MER
12. Modelling of cathode-plasma interaction in short high-intensity electric arc : Application to Gas Tungsten Arc Welding
Sammanfattning : In arc welding the quality of the weld is strongly influenced by the thermal history of the workpiece which is itself governed by the electric arc heat source. The models for predicting weld properties thus need a good evaluation of the distribution of the heat input from thearc to the workpiece. LÄS MER
13. Functional Properties and Morphology of Recycled Post-consumer WEEE Thermoplastic Blends
Sammanfattning : This work concerns a waste electrical and electronic equipment blend of recycled plastics (WEEEBR), reprocessed from a low density thermoplastics batch (600 kg) by removal of non-thermoplastic contamination (1.2 weight % (wt%)). LÄS MER
14. Nanostructured carbon materials prepared by hole-mask colloidal lithography
Sammanfattning : Research and development of nanofabrication methods can be motivated both formanufacturing of commercially available products like micro electronic componentsand for development of model systems for fundamental and applied science. Thefabrication process developed during this work, hole-mask colloidal lithography(HCL), is primarily oriented towards the latter two, specifically for research in thefields of catalysis, nanoparticle plasmons, and bio- and fundamental physics. 15. JOINING SEQUENCE OPTIMIZATION IN COMPLIANT VARIATION SIMULATION
Sammanfattning : Disturbances in the manufacturing and assembly processes cause deviation and geometrical variation from the ideal geometry. This variation eventually results in functional and aesthetic problems in the final product. Being able to control the disturbances is the desire of the manufacturing industry. LÄS MER
