  1. 11. Health among people with psychotic disorders and effects of an individualized lifestyle intervention to promote health

    Författare :Marjut Blomqvist; Henrika Jormfeldt; Anna Sandgren; Ing-Marie Carlsson; Andreas Ivarsson; Sally Hultsjö; Högskolan i Halmstad; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Complex intervention; health promotion; lifestyle intervention; mental health nursing; psychiatric out-patient services; psychotic disorders; qualitative content analysis; quasi-experimental study; statistical analysis;

    Sammanfattning : The overall aim of the thesis was to increase knowledge of health among people with psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia and other long-term psychotic conditions. The aim was also to investigate health effects, in terms of clinical health outcomes and self-reported questionnaires, of atwo-year individualized lifestyle intervention implemented in psychiatric outpatient services involving cooperation with the municipal social psychiatry services. 2. 12. Together We Learn More : Algorithms and Applications for User-Centric Anomaly Detection

    Författare :Ece Calikus; Sławomir Nowaczyk; Onur Dikmen; Stefan Byttner; Evgeny Burnaev; Högskolan i Halmstad; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; data mining; machine learning; anomaly detection; Smart Cities and Communities; Smarta städer och samhällen;

    Sammanfattning : Anomaly detection is the problem of identifying data points or patterns that do not conform to normal behavior. Anomalies in data often correspond to important and actionable information such as frauds in financial applications, faults in production units, intrusions in computer systems, and serious diseases in patient records. 3. 13. Hierarchical Methods for Self-Monitoring Systems : Theory and Application

    Författare :Pablo José Del Moral Pastor; Sławomir Nowaczyk; Sepideh Pashami; Niklas Lavesson; Högskolan i Halmstad; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : Self-monitoring solutions first appeared to avoid catastrophic breakdowns in safety-critical mechanisms. The design behind these solutions relied heavily on the physical knowledge of the mechanism and its fault. They usually involved installing specialized sensors to monitor the state of the mechanism and statistical modeling of the recorded data. LÄS MER

  4. 14. Engaging in Urban Living Lab Co-design

    Författare :Esbjörn Ebbesson; Vaike Fors; Jesper Lund; Johan Lundin; Högskolan i Halmstad; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Urban Living Labs; Participatory Design; CoDesign;

    Sammanfattning : Urban Living Labs (ULL) have become a common way to address wicked design challenges within the future mobility, and smart city context. The move toward ULL is part of a paradigm shift away from focusing purely on the IT-artifact, innovation, and user-centeredness toward focusing on the urban context and the construction of a place as a social context rather than implementation of a product or service in isolation. 5. 15. Towards conformal methods for large-scale monitoring of district heating substations

    Författare :Shiraz Farouq; Stefan Byttner; Mohamed-Rafik Bouguelia; Henrik Gadd; Harris Papadopoulos; Högskolan i Halmstad; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : Increasing technical complexity, design variations, and customization options of IoT units create difficulties for the construction of monitoring infrastructure. These units can be associated with different domains, such as a fleet of vehicles in the mobility domain and a fleet of heat-pumps in the heating domain. LÄS MER
