    Sammanfattning : Traumatic spinal cord injury leads to full or partial paralysis and loss of sensation below the level of injury. The annual incidence of spinal cord injury in the United States is 3-5 per 100,000 and in Sweden is 1.5-2 per 100,000.     Sammanfattning : Our knowledge of the fine structure of the Human Spiral Ganglion (HSG) is still inadequate and new treatment techniques for deafness using electric stimulation, call for further information and studies on the neuronal elements of the human cochlea.
