    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this thesis is to study a Swedish group of artists (Sven Jonson, Waldemar Lorentzon, Stellan Mörner, Axel Olson, Erik Olson, Esaias Thorén), both as a social phenomenon and as an intellectual fellowship. Is it possible to discern a pattern in the social development, and a unity in the group as well as among the members, related to a change of artistic manner and style?     Sammanfattning : This thesis examines the development of the notion of the right to privacy in Sweden between 1920 and 1980. The formation of the notion of the right to privacy is studied through the debate concerning exposure of the aspect of privacy that can be considered the most sensitive: the individual’s sex life and intimate relations.
