26. Laurence-Moon-Bardet-Biedl syndrome. Clinical,electrophysiological and genetic aspects
Sammanfattning : The study included 44 Scandinavian individuals with the autosomal recessive inherited Laurence-Moon-Bardet-Biedl syndrome. Inclusion criteria were retinal dystrophy plus at least 2 more of the remaining traditional cardinal signs of the syndrome: obesity, polydactyly, hypogenitalism and mental retardation. LÄS MER
27. Bothnia dystrophy, a clinical, genetical and electrophysiological study
Sammanfattning : A high frequency of retinitis pigmentosa (RP) is found in Northern Sweden. In an inventory of autosomal recessive RP patients in Västerbotten County, a great number of cases with a unique phenotype was noticed, denoted Bothnia Dystrophy (BD). LÄS MER
28. X-LINKED RETINOSCHISIS ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY, MOLECULAR GENETICS AND TREATMENT
Sammanfattning : X-linked retinoschisis (XLRS) is a congenital progressive inherited retinal disease that affects the entire retina and is one of the more common causes of vision loss from retinal degeneration affecting young men,. The progression is variable but seems to be relatively stationary in the ages 6 to 25 years. LÄS MER
29. Ferromagnetic Resonance as a Probe of Magnetization Dynamics : A Study of FeCo Thin Films and Trilayers
Sammanfattning : The high frequency dynamic magnetic responses of FeCo thin films and structures have been investigated mainly using ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) technique. The FMR resonance condition and linewidth are first derived from the dynamic Landau- Lifshitz-Gilbert equation, followed by a study of the conversion between FMR field and frequency linewidths. 30. Morphological, immunohistochemical and genetic aspects of acinar and ductal adenocarcinoma of the prostate
Sammanfattning : Prostate cancer is one of the most common causes of cancer-related death in developed countries. Acinar adenocarcinoma is by far the most common subtype of prostate cancer, with ductal adenocarcinoma being the second most common subtype. LÄS MER
