    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Retinal Circulation; Labelled Microsphere Technique; Monkeys; Blue Field Simulation; Macular Leukocyte Velocity; Fluorescein Angiogram; Mean Transit Time; Impulse-Response Technique; Arterio-Venous Passage Time; Vessel Diameter; Oxygen; Carbin Dioxide; Diabetes Retinopathy; Ophtalmology; Oftalmologi;

    Sammanfattning : The retina is a highly metabolically active tissue with large demands on the supply of nutrients. Disorders affecting the retina often include some vasculopathy with an impact on retinal circulation. LÄS MER

  2. 2. At the Mountains of Modeling : Multiscale Simulations of Desalination by Capacitive Deionization

    Författare :Johan Nordstrand; Joydeep Dutta; Oscar Tjernberg; Maarten Biesheuvel; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Capacitive Deionization; Desalination; Modeling; Multiscale; Simulation; Avsaltning; Kapacitiv Avjonisering; Modellering; Multiskala; Simulering; Material and Nano Physics; Material- och nanofysik; Physics; Fysik;

    Sammanfattning : More than 2 billion people are living in water-scarce areas. Meanwhile, there are enormous amounts of water in the salty oceans. Capacitive deionization (CDI) rises to the challenge with electrochemical cells for desalinating the water. As the CDI field expands, modeling becomes an increasingly important part of the development landscape. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Electronic properties of intrinsic defects and impurities in GaN

    Författare :Tran Thien Duc; Carl Hemmingsson; Galia Pozina; Erik Janzén; Walter Meyer; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : With its outstanding properties such as a wide direct bandgap (3.4 eV), high electron mobility and high breakdown voltage, GaN and its alloys with In and Al are considered as one of the most important semiconductors for optoelectronic devices and high-power and high-frequency transistors. 4. 4. High-Quality Perovskite Films for Efficient and Stable Light-Emitting Diodes

    Författare :Heyong Wang; Feng Gao; Olle Inganäs; Xiaoke Liu; Ifor David William Samuel; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; perovskite light-emitting diodes; efficiency; stability; growth process; ion migration;

    Sammanfattning : Metal halide perovskites have attracted significant attention for light-emitting applications, because of their excellent properties, such as high photoluminescence quantum yields (PLQYs), good charge mobility, narrow emission bandwidth, readily tunable emission spectra ranging from ultraviolet to near-infrared, and solution processability. Since the first room-temperature perovskite-based light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs) reported in 2014, tremendous efforts have been made to promote the efficiencies of PeLEDs, including theoretical simulation, materials design, and device engineering.
