    Sammanfattning : This thesis examines the image of the adolescent girl in contemporary French first-person novels, read from a gender perspective.     Sammanfattning : The general aim of this thesis was to describe and analyse health care workers' blood-exposure incidents, protective measures, and the motives behind decision making about risks and protective measures. Development and availability of new antibiotics are closely followed by development of resistance among microorganisms.
