Hjalmar Söderberg (1869–1941) published some seventy short stories in five collections, Historietter (1898), Främlingarna (1903), Det mörknar öfver vägen (1907), Den talangfulla draken (1913) and Resan till Rom (1929). The overarching aim of this doctoral dissertation is to present an analysis of the design processes related to serial articles produced in Sweden between 1860 and 1890. In the dissertation, the interconnections between aesthetic theories, design languague, production processes, and the commercial market are explored. LÄS MER
