  1. 21. Towards strategic development of maintenance and its effects on production performance : A hybrid simulation-based optimization framework

    Författare :Gary Linnéusson; Amos H. C. Ng; Tehseen Aslam; Daniel Tesfamariam Semere; Högskolan i Skövde; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Strategic development; maintenance behavior; maintenance management; sustainable change; tradeoff optimization; system dynamics; discrete event simulation; problem structuring; multi-objective optimization; decision support; Production and Automation Engineering; Produktion och automatiseringsteknik;

    Sammanfattning : Managing maintenance in manufacturing within an economical short-termism framework and taking the consequential long-term cost effects into account is hard. The increasing complexity of managing maintenance and its impact on the business results calls for more advanced methods to support long-term development through effective activities in the production system environment. 2. 22. Large-Scale Graphene Production for Environmentally Friendly and Low-Cost Energy Storage : Production, Coating, and Applications

    Författare :Nicklas Blomquist; Håkan Olin; Renyun Zhang; Christina Dahlström; Patrik Johansson; Mittuniversitetet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Graphene; Energy storage; Supercapacitors; EDLC;

    Sammanfattning : There is great demand for energy-efficient, environmentally sustainable, and cost-effective electrical energy storage devices. One important aspect of this demand is the need for automotive electrification to achieve more energy-efficient transportation at a reasonable cost, thus supporting a fossil-fuel free society. 3. 23. Production Ergonomics: Identifying and managing risk in the design of high performance work systems

    Författare :Patrick Neumann; Ergonomi och aerosolteknologi; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; reumatologi; Organizational science; Organisationsteori; Production technology; Produktionsteknik; muskelsystem; Skelett; rheumatology locomotion; muscle system; Skeleton; Risk Assessment; Manufacturing; Musculoskeletal disorders; Human Factors; Organisational Development; Production System Design; Strategy;

    Sammanfattning : Poor ergonomics in production systems can compromise performance and cause musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), which pose a huge cost to society, companies, and afflicted individuals. This thesis presents a research trajectory through the problem space by: 1) Identifying and quantifying workplace risk factors for MSDs, 2) Identifying how these risks may relate to production strategies, and 3) Developing an approach to integrating ergonomics into a companies’ regular development work. 4. 24. Making Commons : attempts at composing prospects in the opening of production

    Författare :Anna Seravalli; Lucy Kimbell; Malmö högskola; []
    Nyckelord :interaction design; design for social innovation; participatory design; the opening of production; commons; compositionism; co-production; commons-based production; programmatic approach; design practice-based; making; im possible presents;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis accounts for a designerly inquiry into the swamp of the opening of production. The “opening of production” refers to the rising of openness, collaboration and sharing in processes through which things are made and service delivered. LÄS MER

  5. 25. An Analysis of the Proactive Approach as a Potential Tool for Adaptability in Production Systems

    Författare :Kerstin Dencker; Mauro Onori; Lena Mårtensson; Monica Bellgran; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Assembly; production system design; proactivity; human-machine collaboration; SRA - Production; SRA - Produktion;

    Sammanfattning : Competitive systems for manufacturing, especially assembly systems, have to cope with frequent changes of external as well as internal demands. A proactive behaviour in an assembly system should make it capable of rapid changes and have an ability to handle frequent changes and disturbances. LÄS MER
