  1. 21. Innovation in distribution channels : an evolutionary approach

    Författare :Anna Nyberg; Handelshögskolan i Stockholm; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY;

    Sammanfattning : Distribution channel activities account for a large share of economic activity, and innovation in distribution is recurrently shown to hold great potential for efficiency-improvement and restructuring. In recent years, there has been a resurgence of interest in innovations and their role in economic change. LÄS MER

  2. 22. Low-energy buildings : energy use, indoor climate and market diffusion

    Författare :Johannes Persson; Stefan Grönkvist; Svend Svendsen; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; building energy simulations; energy efficiency gap; energy use; indoor climate; low-energy buildings;

    Sammanfattning : Low-energy buildings have, in recent years, gained attention and moved towards a large-scale introduction in the residential sector. During this process, national and international criteria for energy use in buildings have become stricter and the European Union has through the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive imposed on member states to adapt their building regulations for ‘Nearly Zero Energy Buildings’, which by 2021 should be standard for new buildings. 3. 23. Fluorine-Free Ionic Liquid Based Electrolytes: Synthesis and Structural Characterization

    Författare :Mukhtiar Ahmed; Faiz Ullah Shah; Patrik Johansson; Jiayin Yuan; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Ionic Liquids; Electrolytes; Sustainability; Vitamin B3; Chemistry of Interfaces; Gränsytors kemi;

    Sammanfattning : Since their introduction by Sony in 1990, lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) have acquired a sizable market share. They have the best energy densities, a high open circuit voltage, a low self-discharge rate, no memory effect, and a slow loss of charge when not in use. LÄS MER

  4. 24. On the Performance of Underlay Cognitive Radio Networks with Interference Constraints and Relaying

    Författare :Charles Kabiri; Blekinge Tekniska Högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Cognitive Radio Networks; Cognitive Cooperative Relay Networks; Underlay Spectrum Access; Interference Constraint; Outage Constraint;

    Sammanfattning : Efficiently allocating the scarce and expensive radio resources is a key challenge for advanced radio communication systems. To this end, cognitive radio (CR) has emerged as a promising solution which can offer considerable improvements in spectrum utilization. LÄS MER

  5. 25. Predicting the sound field from aeroacoustic sources on moving vehicles : Towards an improved urban environment

    Författare :Nicolas Pignier; Ciarán O'Reilly; Susann Boij; Michael Carley; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; pass-by simulations; aeroacoustic sources; urban sound propagation; direct numerical beamforming; linear programming deconvolution; Kirchhoff approximation; moving sources; detached-eddy simulation; Ffowcs Williams-Hawkings; vehicle design; förbifartssimuleringar; aeroakustiska källor; urban ljudutbredning; direkt numerisk lobformning; avfaltning med hjälp av linjärprogrammering; Kirchhoffs approximation; rörliga källor; detached-eddy simulation; Ffowcs Williams-Hawkings; fordonsdesign; Vehicle and Maritime Engineering; Farkostteknik;

    Sammanfattning : In a society where environmental noise is becoming a major health and economical concern, sound emissions are an increasingly critical design factor for vehicle manufacturers. With about a quarter of the European population living close to roads with heavy traffic, traffic noise in urban landscapes has to be addressed first. LÄS MER
