    Sammanfattning : In this thesis, cellulose nanocrystals based systems were investigated using advanced rheological characterization techniques, with a particular focus on nonlinear material response functions and Rheo-PLI (Polarized Light Imaging). Cellulose nanocrystals (CNCs) show enormous potential for many applications, either as material on its own or as renewable reinforcement in polymers. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Swallowing disorders, termed ‘dysphagia’, are more common in the elderly but can also affect younger persons. Approximately, 8% of the world’s population suffers from dysphagia. A Texture Modified Diet (TMD), which increases bolus viscosity to adjust for the sluggish bolus handling mechanism, is the most common intervention. LÄS MER
