Sammanfattning : The main objective of this PhD thesis, "An Aesthetics of Sexual Difference? On Art and Artistry in Swedish Handicraft of the 1920s and 1990s", is to investigate the field of handicraft in relation to a wider field of cultural production. Its aim is to contribute to a mapping of interrelated outlines of handicraft and art based on empirical studies of artistic creation in two local Swedish handicraft organizations during the modernism of the 1920s and the postmodernism of the 1990s. 42. Nutida gudstjänst och medeltida kyrkorum : Förhållandet mellan det sena 1900-talets liturgireform och det medeltida gudstjänstrummet i Svenska kyrkan
Sammanfattning : The central focus of this dissertation concerns the question of whether and in what way there is a connection between the development of the Church of Sweden Service Book (kyrkohandboken) of 1942 and 1986 and changes in designing the structure of the liturgical space of the medieval church buildings. This study has two means of approach: first there is an examination of the process of liturgical change primarily during the latter part of the 20th century in its relationship to the medieval worship space; secondly there is a case study of the same process related to a specific church building – the medieval Church of St Mary (Mariakyrkan) at Sigtuna. The directive ”On the assessment of the effects of certain plans and programmes on the environment” was agreed upon by the European Commission on the 21st of June 2001 and was to be transposed to national legislation by 21st of June 2004.
