16. Higher order differential operators on graphs
Sammanfattning : This thesis consists of two papers, enumerated by Roman numerals. The main focus is on the spectral theory of -Laplacians. Here, an -Laplacian, for integer , refers to a metric graph equipped with a differential operator whose differential expression is the -th derivative. LÄS MER
17. Random Multigraphs : Complexity Measures, Probability Models and Statistical Inference
Sammanfattning : This thesis is concerned with multigraphs and their complexity which is defined and quantified by the distribution of edge multiplicities. Two random multigraph models are considered. The first model is random stub matching (RSM) where the edges are formed by randomly coupling pairs of stubs according to a fixed stub multiplicity sequence. LÄS MER
18. Contributions to Declarative Implementation of Static Program Analysis
Sammanfattning : Programming languages are ever evolving, with new languages being invented to solve new problems, and old languages being extended to solve old problems in new ways. With the continued evolution of programming languages, and with new and improved static program analyses, we need flexible systems for building our static analyses and compilers. LÄS MER
19. Tensor Products on Category O and Kostant's Problem
Sammanfattning : This thesis consists of a summary and three papers, concerning some aspects of representation theory for complex finite dimensional semi-simple Lie algebras with focus on the BGG-category O.Paper I is motivated by the many useful properties of functors on category O given by tensoring with finite dimensional modules, such as projective functors and translation functors. 20. Agustina Bessa Luís et l’écriture de l’Histoire
Sammanfattning : When Agustina Bessa-Luís rewrites History she is guided by the will to show the absence of women in History. Our reading will show the reintroduction of women in Portuguese History through the “descontruction” of its discourse. LÄS MER
