  1. 16. Activity-Based Costing : avbildning, integration & nytta

    Författare :Henrik Nehler; Lars A. Samuelson; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :Activity-Based Costing; Activity-Based Management; activities; cost pools; cost drivers; product costing; cost accounting; management accounting; management control systems; cost system complexity sophistication; degree of integration; information value; Activity-Based Costing; ekonomistyrning; kostnader; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP;

    Sammanfattning : This doctoral dissertation provides an extensive analysis of Activity-Based Costing, one of the most discussed management accounting models during the 90's. The aim of the study is to analyse the prerequisites for the design, integration and use of Activity-Based Costing systems. LÄS MER

  2. 17. Design Beyond Interventions – Supporting Less Energy-reliant Activities in the Everyday

    Författare :Anneli Selvefors; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Activities; Energy use; Enabling preconditions; Design for Sustainability; Everyday life; Energy conservation;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis addresses challenges and opportunities for product design to contribute to domestic energy conservation. The overall aim of the thesis is that of increasing the understanding of people’s energy use and their use of energy-reliant artefacts in the everyday in order to propose ways of supporting energy conservation through design. 3. 18. On synthesis in the later phases of the mechanical engineering design process

    Författare :Damien Motte; Innovation; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; detail design; verbal protocol analysis; problem solving; mechanical engineering design process; design activity; embodiment design; design analysis; machine design; maskinkonstruktion;

    Sammanfattning : Only 15% to 30% of product development projects require the development of new product concepts. This means that the majority of design projects are carried out within the embodiment design and detail design phases. LÄS MER

  4. 19. Understanding Energy Behaviour – A Necessity for Supporting Domestic Energy Conservation through Design

    Författare :Anneli Selvefors; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Energy conservation; energy behaviour; domestic energy consumption; design for sustainable behaviour; energy feedback;

    Sammanfattning : Domestic energy consumption is continuing to increase and the need to decrease consumption is growing more evident. In this research, two studies were conducted to further the understanding of domestic energy behaviour and increase the knowledge of how energy conservation can be supported. LÄS MER

  5. 20. Designing for Peer Learning : Mathematics, Games and Peer Groups in Leisure-time Centers

    Författare :Åsa Harvard Maare; Sune Vork Steffensen; Kognitionsvetenskap; []
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Leisure-time centers; mathematics; embodied interaction; design research; motivation; observational learning; Leisure-time centers;

    Sammanfattning : Constrained by national tests and the mathematics curriculum, teachers have problems finding time for exploratory and hands-on mathematical activities, especially so in classes with a reduced pace of progression, for example because of a large proportion of second-language learners. Could the leisure-time center, where time is not earmarked, provide such opportunities? The conclusion of this thesis is that this can be done, on the condition that designed activities build on the central premise of the leisure-time center: children have the right to choose which activities to engage with.
