36. Detection of Partial Discharges at Fast Rising Voltages
Sammanfattning : The present demand for higher efficiency and flexibility in the energy sector has ledto an increased use of power electronic generated waveforms as these allow energyconversion between different frequencies including DC. The generated waveformsare usually synthesized by so called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) techniques, where the desired waveform is approximated by a number of square shaped pulseswith a short rise time. 37. Cell models for evaluation of adult and developmental neurotoxicity : Focus on acrylamide
Sammanfattning : This thesis is aimed at summarizing some of the alternative in vitro methods and models that have been used to study both adult and developmental neurotoxicity (DNT), and also to pinpoint some of the important aspects of using alternative in vitro methods. The aim of the papers included in this thesis was to challenge the hypothesis that neurotoxicity and DNT of chemicals can be studied using robust endpoints for proliferation and neural differentiation, such as neurite outgrowth, mRNA expression and protein expression, in two different cell lines. 38. Studies of Heavy Ion Induced Desorption in the Energy Range 5-100 MeV/u
Sammanfattning : During operation of heavy ion accelerators a significant pressure rise has been observed when the intensity of the high energy beam was increased. The cause for this pressure rise is ion induced desorption, which is the result when beam ions collide with residual gas molecules in the accelerator, whereby they undergo charge exchange. LÄS MER
39. Tudelad trots allt : dualismens överlevnad i den svenska staten 1718-1987
Sammanfattning : On May 1, 1720 the Swedish Riksdag took a seemingly peripheral decision which would however prove to have great and enduring consequences for the organization of the country’s central state administration. The model adopted then is today often referred to as the ‘dualism’ of the Swedish state. LÄS MER
40. Performing Ambiguity?: Following Multiplicity in Shared Mobility Markets
Sammanfattning : How do markets change and develop over time? The present PhD project focuses on the dynamic effects of market change in the context of the sharing economy. This phenomenon is of particular interest since it concerns how alternative market forms – such as gifting, collaborating, accessing – are challenging established market conceptions. LÄS MER
