   Sammanfattning : It’s not fully understood why some children wheeze with viral infections, and why some develop severe asthma. In this study we compared two study groups; children presenting with acute wheeze (AW) before the age of four and age-matched healthy controls (HC), and we investigated factors that might contribute to increased vulnerability for airway infections and risk of later asthma development.
