  3. 18. What is going on out there? - What does it mean for children's experiences when the kindergarten is moving their everyday activities into the nature - landscapes and its places

    Sammanfattning : How we understand the practice of learning in nature-landscapes and places is relevant to contemporary environmental arenas, both in the context of international agendas and as an agenda for Nordic kindergartens where spending most of their day outdoors is a common practice? In this study, I question the deterministic models for environmental learning and examine what it means for children to be in nature. To do so I made an empirical study focusing on the children’s own experiences by asking the questions: What is going on out there? What does it mean for the children’s experiences when the kindergarten is moving their everyday activities into the nature-landscapes and places? In exploring these questions a critical approach on the educational ideas of this practice is implicated. LÄS MER

  5. 20. Optimal deterrents to malingering : the role of incentives, attitudes and information costs in social insurance, especially sickness benefit and welfare

    Författare :Kari Lantto; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :Sjukförsäkring; Yrkesskadeförsäkring;

    Sammanfattning : In a sequence of four models which all generalize the single-period model of Diamond and Mirrlees (1978), we explain and optimize the structure of static social insurance against health-related disability in an economy where detected cheaters feel ashamed, where some of the workers are more honest than the others, and where the cost of ascertaining disease and disability varies. Given the insurance the workers report their disease to the insurer who benevolently chooses the consumption in each state and the probability with which to use his test of disease and disability.
